Today, June 5th 2015, the new Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government; Mr. Etekamba Umoren will be sworn in.
This message is contained in a statement released by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Chief Press Secretary to the the Executive Governor of the State; Mr. Ekeret Udoh.
The event which is scheduled to commence by 2:30pm will be performed by the State Governor, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel at the EXCO chamber of the new government house, Uyo.
Sir Umoren who until his appointment was the Chief of Staff to the immediate past governor of the state; Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, is a Knight of the Order of St. John Wesley and a graduate of the University of Benin.
