Succor has finally come the way of Local Government employees being owed
gratuity arrears as the state's Chief Executive, His Excellency, Mr.
Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has directed the State Accountant-General to pay
(on behalf of the Local Government Service Commission) the gratuity
arrears of Local Government employees from 2002 - 2011.
This
decision, Akwa Ibom Online was made to understand is in line with the
state Governor's promise to settle all outstanding entitlements of
workers in the state.
